The Rock County Clerk of Courts office provides
service for Criminal, Traffic, Civil, Small Claims and Family
matters. The Clerk of Courts provides the support staff for
the Circuit Court and maintains the records for cases.
Services provided by the Clerk of Court's Office:
File Legal Papers:
At the Clerk of Court's office, you can obtain forms
and instructions, file new legal actions, and pay filing fees.
Pay fines:
This is also where traffic tickets, ordinance violation
fines, and installment payments are made.
Search case files/public records:
The Clerk's office contains a
records viewing area where you can search cases online using
CCAP,
or search printed indexes, case files and judgment records.
Provide a wide variety of court forms:
Standard, statewide forms are required by all Wisconsin circuit
courts for civil, criminal, family, guardianship, juvenile, mental
