The ADRC of Rock County provides information about resources and support on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability and is a one-stop shop for older adults, people with disabilities and their families. ADRC staff are unbiased and knowledgeable professionals who listen to your concerns, help clarify your options and direct you to appropriate resources.

The ADRC is also the access point for information about long-term care options and applying for public benefits. ADRC staff also take reports of adults who are at risk of abuse or neglect. Services provided by the ADRC are free, confidential and available to Rock County residents regardless of income or assets.

Medicare Open Enrollment

medicareMedicare Open Enrollment begins October 15 and ends December 7. During Open Enrollment, those enrolled in Medicare are able to compare their current health care needs to available plan options and decide to either keep what they currently have or to enroll in a plan that better meets their needs.

Current and accurate information is vital to making a well-informed decision. Obtaining this information in a clear and concise manner can be challenging.

The Elder Benefit Specialist and Disability Benefit Specialist in Rock County are available to provide enrollees with the information and resources that will guide them through the decision making process.

If you are under 60, contact the ADRC (608-741-3600) and request to speak with a Disability Benefit Specialist.
