About Clean Sweep
Clean Sweep is held every year in Rock County. Dates and locations vary. County residents may use Rock County sites for free or a small fee for additional volume. Businesses must use Business Clean Sweep (see below for details). Clean Sweep - Rock County is not affiliated with Clean Sweep programs in other counties; programs may vary.

NO LATEX PAINT. Latex paint can be recycled for a small fee per gallon at Ace Hardware stores in Beloit, Janesville, and Monroe OR it can be made solid and put in trash with lids off. Trash handlers must see that material is solid. Latex paint is a mess when it spills on curbs, roads, and in trash handling equipment.

NEED CLEAN SWEEP NOW? Dane County Clean Sweep accepts hazardous household and farm waste from other WI counties (conditions apply). Businesses must use business program. Chemical waste only. NOTE - $2000 forfeiture possible for leaving material at site when closed.
Year Round General Recycling and Disposal Information
Any Wisconsin business, school or agency that generates less than 2,200 pounds of hazardous wastes (approximately four 55-gallon drums) per year may be eligible to use a Clean Sweep drop-off site for the cost of disposal only - no vendor mobilization costs. Rock County Clean Sweep is not affiliated with Dane County Clean Sweep, programs may vary.
