Healthy Families First is a program which provides free in-home nursing services to families.

If you are pregnant or parenting an infant less than one year of age, you may be eligible to participate in this program.

Public health nurses visit families throughout their pregnancy and baby's infancy to provide valuable support and information.

The home visits are free of cost to you. There are no income guidelines to receive these services.

Interested families are encouraged to contact the Health Department directly. Families are also referred by service providers in the community.

Children with Special Health Care Needs
- Informs, supports, and assists families and providers of children with special health care needs.
- Waisman Center: Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs - The Waisman Center serves families and providers who care for children and youth birth to 21 years of age with a long term chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional illness or condition.
