Measles Update:

The CDC has reported an outbreak of measles in the United States. It is important to check your children's and your own immunization record to ensure two doses of the MMR vaccine has been administered. Measles is a highly contagious virus that can spread through coughing, sneezing, surfaces, or airspace. Those infected with measles can spread the rash to others four days before and four days after the rash appears.

For a copy of your immunization record or questions regarding the MMR vaccine, please contact your primary care provider or the Rock County Health Department at 608-757-5440 or 608-364-2010.
