In accordance with DHS 36 Comprehensive Community Services or CCS is an outpatient psychosocial rehabilitation program provided to children and adults with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring diagnosis.
CCS is a Medicaid program meaning those involved must be eligible for Medicaid or BadgerCare. There is also an option to pay for your services out of pocket.
Treatment is recovery focused with an emphasis on client choice. Services provided include:
- Psychosocial rehabilitation
- Service facilitation
- Employment related skills training
- Community Residential Supports
- Medication management
- Substance Abuse Counseling

Each CCS participant is assigned a service facilitator (case manager). They will assist you in coordinating your services and will help you develop a recovery plan that will include your goals and how CCS staff can help you to meet those goals. You may also be assigned a mental health therapist or a substance abuse counselor. You can include other people in your recovery plan including friends, family or anyone that can help you to meet your goals.
