The Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is a team of dedicated Detectives that proudly assists the citizens of Rock County by conducting professional, objective and complete criminal investigations centered on solving crimes and holding perpetrators accountable.

About the Detective Bureau:

• Staff includes one captain, five detectives, two deputies assigned to the Special Investigations Unit and one administrative assistant. 
• The Bureau of Identification (B of I) is also a part of the Detective Bureau and consists of one sergeant and one deputy.
• Responsible for the investigation of most felonies and all violent crimes.
• Special Investigations Unit investigates drug related crimes.
• Bureau of Identification processes crime scenes and handles all evidence for the Sheriff's Office.
