The Rock County Communications Center has a Communications Training and Evaluation Program, which provides each new telecommunicator with (14) days of academic training, including training of the Center's rules, regulations, and policies.

The Rock County Communications Center provides a minimum of (30) weeks of on-the-job training in the Communications Center. 

The training program includes a formal Training Committee comprised of the Operations Manager, Training Coordinator, and all Communication Training Officers (CTOs) who regularly evaluate and develop the training program.

CTOs are specially selected telecommunicators who have at least (12) months of experience with our Center.
