Outdoor Warning System/Sirens
Activation of Sirens - Tornado Warning
- Steady tone of 3-5 minutes.
- Immediately take shelter as a tornado warning has been issued for Rock County or a sighting of a funnel cloud has been reported.
- Please do not call 911 to inquire about the siren. Tune to local radio stations: Beloit WGEZ AM 1490; Janesville WCLO AM 1230 or WJVL FM 99.9.
- There is no "All Clear" signal.

- April thru October / First Wednesday of each month at 12:05 PM
- Steady tone of 2 minutes
- Sirens are not tested when inclement weather is being experienced within the County.
