Home MenuThe "BeeHive"
The goal of the BeeHive is to anchor the voice of lived experts to support the Movement of Rock Families First. BeeHive members help to promote and support family wellness, and prevent separation and entry into the child protective system. The BeeHive is able to anchor the voice of lived experts in this systems change effort by creating a safe, peer-led atmosphere where members can express freely their life fears, aspirations, and dreams, and receive peer encouragement, support, and accountability. This next phase of work is around self-empowerment and community empowerment, by building individual and collective capacity as informal supports in the community through trainings, conferences, certifications, etc.
