Rock County Public Health (RCPH) is responsible for responding to communicable disease outbreaks that take place in our jurisdiction, as described in Wisconsin State Statue Chapter 252.

Outbreaks may be caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi, which can spread through direct contact, through contaminated air, or through contaminated food and water. Each outbreak poses unique and complex challenges and requires our response to be tailored to the specifics of each incident. Select each drop-down menu below to learn how RCPH works to limit the impacts of local outbreaks.
