**You should consider taking an HIV test if you are sexually active and are at increased risk of HIV, whether or not you have any symptoms. It is important to know that a positive test result does not necessarily mean you have been infected with HIV. If you receive a positive test result, you may call us at 608-757-5440 to schedule a free confirmatory HIV test and better understand your HIV status. You may also contact your healthcare provider for confirmatory testing options.
