Our Maternal, Child, and Family Health Unit works to address the unique health needs of women, infants, children, and families, including maternal health during pregnancy, infant and children nutrition, and family-related health issues.

Our Work in Action

We work to improve the health of women, infants, children, and families throughout Rock County by developing family-friendly policies to support local workers and businesses, addressing home hazards through education and counseling, and collaborating with community partners to improve nutrition and infant/child health.

Impact on Rock County

The first five years of life are essential in a child's development, and without good health and support, they can fall behind, leaving them vulnerable to health, educational, and social challenges. Children are the future, and by keeping them and their families healthy throughout their formative years, we help support a healthier Rock County for years to come.
