The Public Works Committee has policy supervision over the Public Work Department, which includes the highway, parks and motor pool operations.  The Committee will, from time-to-time, operate as the County Highway Committee with such powers and duties conferred by State law and County Board policy.

The Parks Advisory Committee meets once a month on the second Tuesday after the regularly scheduled Public Works Committee meeting. The committee is tasked to aid in decisions regarding a multitude of topics such as park and trail related items, Parks, Outdoor Recreation, and Open Space (POROS) Plan development, public relations, Friends Group communications and other general park matters. The role of each Parks Advisory Committee member is to communicate and provide correspondence to the Parks administration and to the Public Works Committee to aid in decision making for the Parks Department.

Highway - 4th Tuesday - 8:00 AM
Parks - 2nd Tuesday - 8:00 AM
