Police Explorer Program
Law Enforcement Exploring is the preeminent career orientation and experience program for young people contemplating a career in law enforcement or a related field in the criminal justice system. Its mission is to offer young adults, age 14 that have completed the eighth grade, and other individuals not yet 21 years old, a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition, assisting with special events, and other activities.
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Rock County Sheriff' s Office Police Explorer Post must be willing to attend monthly or bi-monthly meetings and trainings. These meetings and trainings will give the explorer's up close and hand's on experience with law enforcement professionals. Explorer's will also be asked to volunteer at various events/fundraisers with the Rock County Sheriff's Office.
