atv safetyThe Rock County Sheriff's Office strongly encourages all ATV users to take the ATV safety course. You will learn safe ATV techniques and knowledge that can keep you safe while on your ATV.

Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, is required to complete an ATV safety course to legally operate an ATV in areas open to the public. It is also recommended that participants be at least 12 years of age, or turn 12 shortly following completion of the class.

  • There is a class fee of $10.00 per student, which will be collected at the time of registration.
  • A parent/guardian signature is required for all persons under the age of 18, and the underage student must be present with an adult parent or guardian at time of registration.

Class size is limited to twenty-five (25) students. Pre-registration for the course is required by completing the online registration form via the links below. After completing the online registration, you will receive an email with confirmation and registration information.

Any questions concerning registration, or the course itself, should be directed to Deputy Cisneros, at 608-757-7941 or Deputy Berberich, at 608-373-3816
